COTTESMORE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
Cottesmore home win 4-2 over Singing Hills at the weekend secured the inaugural title for Cottesmore Golf Club. Considering their poor start with 2 away losses Cottesmore soon found their feet with 6 wins on the trot to win the their First Southern League Golf Title. Their star performers were Mick Taylor and Scott Greenbook who between them had 11 wins over their 8 matches. Cottesmore top pair was Richard York & Chris Macklin who were undefeated over their 3 matches as a pair. However, Cottesmore winning strategy seem to mix their players up as they used 45 different pairings over their 48 Matches. Compare this to Horsham’s team who only used 29 different Pairings. So well done to Cottesmore and we look forward to them trying to retain their title in 2026.
